Taurus Season 2025: The Art of Finding Your Silence

Off to a Wild 2025 Start

The past two months have been pretty eventful. We’ve had the two closest planets to the Sun retrograde (Mercury and Venus), the first eclipses of the year, and the most eventful transit of 2025, Neptune entered Aries. But now, all that ruckus is calming down, just in time for Taurus season. The only transit that reflects the antithesis of Tarus will be the days around April 26th, when Mars, finally in Leo, will oppose Pluto in Aquarius. Things can get heated and real; just make sure you stand your ground, be courageous, and be honest. Now that we've got all that out of the way, let’s focus on that soothing, sensual, and peaceful Taurus energy.

At the time of writing this, it’s Saturday, Apr 26, 2025, and the Sun just entered Taurus and will stay in the sign of the Bull until May 20th. Just as I was saying a few lines earlier, this is a major vibe shift from the first quarter of 2025. So let’s see how we can best harness this energy.

Keeping The Peace

One of the best ways to understand signs is by viewing them as having evolutionary goals. For Taurus, the aim is to cultivate serenity, and just like the rest of the 11 zodiac signs, it is associated with many themes, but if we could focus on its highest frequency, then we can get our bearings straight. Knowing that Taurus loves peace, we can now figure out what the best strategies are to accomplish that aim. But first, we must ask ourselves, “Why do we want tranquility?” Taurus seeks serenity for two main reasons: because it wants to return to equilibrium, and because, in silence, we can get a sense of where we need to go in life.

Stop and Smell The Roses

Taurus is a Venus-ruled sign; in plain English, this means that it seeks to restore its balance by calming down. What are some strategies that can help with this? Let’s start off by going in nature, watching a sunset, and quite literally, stopping to smell the roses. Create art. Sing out loud. Listen to music. I came across a psychologist on Instagram who regularly posts how she winds down, and it has Taurus written all over it: drinking a glass of wine, reclining on a comfy chair, listening to some good tunes on vinyl. But you can also go for that much-needed massage or log more yoga sessions at your favorite studio. Taurus is the most tactical sign of the zodiac, so think of ways you can use your body and hands, like gardening, pumping some iron, or building a custom-made table for your kitchen.  However you do Taurus season, make sure you find ways to calm your nervous system.

Finding Your Silence

It might be because I’m a four-planet Scorpio, but I really enjoy Taurus season. Scorpio is the opposite of Taurus, so Taurean energy can help balance me. What’s not to like about this time of the year? In the northern hemisphere, Taurus season means that we’re in the middle of Spring. We have more daylight, the weather is perfect, and flowers are starting to bloom everywhere. The energy is perfect to go out in nature. And Earth medicine might just be what you need right now. Or spending quality time with animals. Is it a coincidence that Earth Day, April 22nd, always falls during Taurus season? Nature reminds you that great things take time to mature. Animals remind you to trust your instincts and intuition. Nature also reminds you that in silence, you can receive insights and visions. If you’re always going and doing, how are you going to allow your unconscious, your guardian angels, or the Divine to speak to you?

Peace Comes After Wisdom

At least, that’s the Taurean spirit. Taurus doesn’t automatically go for the stressful events, but when life happens, it knows how to return to equilibrium. After you’ve experienced some hardship, ideally, you’ve become a lot wiser. Ask anyone about what’s been their greatest lesson, and it’s usually after something hard, tragic, or intense. Think about the lessons that come from losing a significant other, or putting in years of schooling and earning a degree, or even just from having a difficult and heated argument with your romantic partner. Even though those experiences were tough, you’ve hopefully gotten a lot wiser from them. You also don’t want more of it, you don’t want more stress; you want to recover by doing simple things, especially ones that satisfy your inner animal, like watching a funny movie or eating some good takeout. Whatever the intense and stressful event you’ve found yourself in, take these next four weeks to chill and recover.

Beautify The World

Ancient astrologers crowned Venus the princess of the night. The Sun is the brightest celestial object in the day, and the Moon at night. After those two, it's Venus. Fun fact, sometimes, when the day starts becoming night, the first star you see isn’t a star, it’s Venus. Furthermore, when the dark starts becoming light, the last celestial object you’ll see is Venus.

Since Venus is such a jewel of a planet, ancient astrologers also crowned her the Goddess of Beauty, Love, and Peace. And since Taurus is a Venus-ruled sign, it is no surprise that Taureans love the finer things in life.

My grandfather is a Taurus. He irons his clothes all the time, tends to his yard, trees, and plants, eats good food, and drinks good spirits. We both love soccer, so when there’s a good game on, I’ll go to his house and we’ll watch the game together. Sometimes you can catch us sipping on some fine tequila, eating some delicious snacks, and eating some carne asada during halftime. Suffice it to say that spending time with him helps me calm down.

Taurus likes beauty. It likes to immerse itself in it and create it. Is this why I felt called to wash my cars today on the first day of the Bull’s season? Taureans, just like Librans, are the Beautifiers of the zodiac family. Whether it’s picking up trash, tending to your garden, investing in quality garments, or upgrading your home’s aesthetics, Taurus season can help you in making thing look a little nicer.

C.R.E.A.M.

“Cash rules everything around me, cream. Get the money. Dolla dolla bills ya’ll.’” We can’t talk about Taurus without talking about money. Pop astrology usually says that Taurus is money-oriented, and that is true, but there’s a reason why I don’t like starting off Taurus conversations with this topic. Because Taurus isn’t about making loads of money, Taurus is about cultivating peace. Therefore, knowing that your bills are going to get paid on time will significantly decrease the amount of tension within your body. So it’s good Taurean practice to get practical and strategic about your finances. Where people can get in trouble is in believing that materialism and making substantial money will help them feel good, but your net worth won’t equate to self-worth.

K.I.S.S.

Instead of searching for psychological insights, listen to your body. Eat when you’re hungry. Sleep when you're tired. Strengthening your intuition and honoring your body’s signals is what Taurus can help you with. No need to get complicated, deep, or intense, save that for Scorpio season. Right now, the invitation is to keep it super simple. Return to equilibrium and allow that silence within you to guide your next steps.

Peace,
Andre
